Draka Elevator Products
In the first quarter of 2007 Draka Elevator Products, Inc. went through a re-organization which included staff reductions. The company also planned to relocate to a smaller facility at some future point; however, we had an opportunity to make a very advantageous move if we could do so in less that 8 weeks.
With our reduced staffing, it was essential that we obtained some outside expertise quickly. CRMI was recommended to us by our industrial real estate agent. We first met March 22nd, received a full written proposal by March 29th and came to an agreement on March 30th. CRMI then planned, organized and implemented our move within 6 weeks.
The project manager was knowledgable, organized, effective, cost conscious and adaptable. He worked well with both staff and contractors. Although we were all exhausted by the end, the relocation process was completed without injuries and close to projected costs.
