 Peter Miller
With more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, facility start- ups and reorganizations, Peter brings a wealth of experience to CRMI clients.
Beginning his career in Plant Engineering with an Ontario automotive parts manufacturer, Peter was project manager for multiple facility relocations and facility expansions, before moving into operations. In 2000, at the request of his employer, Peter moved to England to run one of the company's foundrys. Sent by the Canadian parent to oversee the foundry's closure, the mandate was changed to one of reorganization and sale.
Prior to CRMI, Peter held the position of Vice President of Operations for a Québec based automotive parts manufacturer, with responsibility for plants in Québec and Ontario.
Throughout his career, Peter has worked in many industries including; manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and service, ranging in size from small operations of fewer than 10 employees to large captial intensive manufacturing facilities. In each of these companies, Peter has used his experience to introduce 'best practice' and bring efficiency to their operation.
Peter studied Mechanical Technology at college in Hamilton and Manufacturing Technology at McMaster University.
